GM receives more claims for its ignition switch compensation

According to the latest reports, General Motors Co  received more seventy-five claims for the compensation for its defective ignition switch in its cars last week.

These new claims bring the total to 4,312. This has been revealed by an official managing the compensation program.

Through on Friday, General Motors received 478 claims for death, some 288 for catastrophic injuries as many as 3,546 for less-serious injuries needing hospitalization. The figure of claims that were found eligible for the compensation elevated to 143 from last week’s 131.
