The mother-of-one has revealed she's re-recorded a version of her debut solo single Crazy In Love for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.

Taking to Facebook this afternoon, the star simply said: "Crazy in Love #‎fiftyshades"

Jay Z's wife hinted at the musical addition earlier this week when she released a pre-trailer with the slower, sexier version of Crazy In Love playing in the background.

The 30-second clip opens with the sound of a deep breath against the image of a suited man, presumably Dornan's character Christian Grey, peering out the window of a high rise building.

The video swiftly moves on to the image of a woman's legs layers with a pink silk dress with the sneak peak of a man's hand making it's way under the table.

At the end of the clip, viewers can see a man entering a room while Beyonce utters the words "uh-oh."

The first official trailer for the 2015 movie was released this afternoon, with a PG version premiering on NBC's Today show in America.

The short clip shows Dakota Johnson as Ana Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, her sadomasochistic, billionaire lover.

The infamous first meeting between the two is, as many fans predicted, a rather awkward affair.

The words "Mr. Grey will see you now" sends shivers up the watcher's spine as fans are treated to  a first peak at mousey Anastasia as she prepares to meet the man who will change her life.

"What's he like?", a friend asks afterwards, ominously.

Earlier in the year, CinemaCon attendees were treated to a preview of the trailer which reportedly featured Beyonce's song Haunted, aiding speculation that she will play a big part in the film's soundtrack.

Fifty Shades of Grey, directed by Sam Johnson, is set for release on February 13 2015.
