Samsung's smart TVs unable to encrypt voice commands

Technology

Samsung has reportedly acknowledged that some models of its smart TV are reportedly uploading their owners' voices directly to internet in a complete unencrypted form.

This apparent oversight would be reportedly making things easier for hackers for spying on customers' activities and hence matter was reportedly brought to the public's attention by some of the UK-based cybersecurity experts.

Samsung is now planning to release new code which encrypts the voice commands so that it can protect its users. This marks the latest set of PR problems for the South Korean firm’s smart TV division.
