Israeli TV talent show star broke into her computer and leaked the tracks online
The latest in the Madonna album leak fiasco is the arrest of the 39-year-old hacker by Israel's Lahav 433 branch cyber crime unit.
His name has not been released but claims have been made that he is a former contestant on one of Israel's TV talent shows.
Tracks from Madonna's upcoming album Rebel Heart were leaked online in December, sparking great frustration in the singer who called the cyber attack 'artistic rape', and took to instagram to vent her distress at the situation.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the investigation firm from Tel Aviv have been collaborating with the FBI on the case, and said of suspected culprit that he 'broke into the personal computers of several international artists over the past few months and stole promotional final-cut singles which have yet to be released and traded them online for a fee'.
Rebel Heart will be released in March, featuring production from Diplo, SOPHIE, and Ariel Rechtshaid. Guest appearances include Nas, Chance the Rapper, Mike Tyson and Nicki Minaj.
