He may not have a roof over his head, but a man who lives on the streets of Paris maintains the physic of an athlete.
In his short film, director Julien Goudichaud showcases the story of 50-year-old Jacques Sayagh, who despite unfortunate circumstances stays in amazing shape by doing pushups on the sidewalk, doing leg raises on lamp posts, and using street-side metal fences as resistance band exercises.
He gives his hard-working body what it needs by buying casein, whey protein, creatine powder and vitamins with the little bit of money he makes panhandling.
His body isn’t the only thing he cares for, however. Sayagh has a dog, who he treats really well and he has his family on his mind often.
“I have grandchildren” say Sayagh. “I don’t want them to think that their grandfather is an asshole. I want them to be proud of me. That’s all I want.”
